Dynamic and Visionary Leadership
Our dynamic and visionary leadership team entrenches the principles of empowerment and diversity into the ethos of Tsogo Sun. Our employee demographics clearly reflect the demographics of our nation, with middle to top management comprising of more than 50% black people, of which over 40% have been female managers.
In line with our economic empowerment strategy, the Tsogo Sun Book-A-Guesthouse programme was developed in 2005 to provide support to emerging entrepreneurs in the tourism industry. This programme has improved year-on-year – evident in the size of the portfolio, the quality of member establishments and the sustainable nature of the businesses supported by the programme.
Tsogo Sun participates in the formation and governance of industry bodies like the Tourism Business Council of South Africa, the South African Tourism Board and the Casino Association of South Africa, with an investment of time, effort and intellectual contributions from management and leaders.
