Terms and Conditions Apply

  1. The competition is open to South African citizens only.
  2. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  3. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. Participants can activate their entries into this competition by commenting their answers on our social media competition post with the hashtag #SAOpenTriviaChallenge on the Tsogo Sun Facebook page.
  5. Tsogo Sun is committed to protecting your privacy. By entering this competition, you agree to our data practices as set out in our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.tsogosun.com/privacy-policy/
  6. The competition closes on 25 November 2023 at
  7. The prize winners will be selected by way of a random manual draw on 27 November 2023 at Montecasino in The winners do not need to be present and will be contacted on the day of the draw. A social media post on the Tsogo Sun social media page will be published on the day of the draw once consent is received from the prize winners.
  8. 120 winners will be selected from the combined entries by a random electronic draw through a Google Random Number Generator App
  9. Every participant in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  10. All reasonable steps shall be taken to contact the prize winners via social media.
  11. Winners are requested to acknowledge receipt of the notification within 12 hours of the notification. The winner will have to take up the prize before 29 November and will need to collect their prize at the Montecasino Service Desk within operational hours and must present an acceptable form of identification upon receiving his/her prize.
  12. If the winner does not collect his/her prize before the specific date – a new winner may be drawn and contacted.
  13. The prize excludes transport to and from the SA Open Championship.
  14. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device or online system used for the competition draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  15. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  16. Neither Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company (PTY) Limited, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their Directors, Officers, employees or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death suffered by the prize winner or any of his/her invitees, as a result of the prize winner having taken up the prize. The prize winner hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the Tsogo Sun Casino Management Company (PTY) Limited for any such loss, damage, injury or death.
  17. Any person transgressing the rules of this competition will be disqualified.
  18. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause will be severed and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
