There is a variety of accommodation available in the form of bushveld camps, bush lodges and rest camps, caravan and camp sites - which are generally well stocked, where food, drinks and curios can be purchased.

Open vehicles, motorcycles and vehicles with an axle load exceeding 8,000 kgs are not permitted in the park. The speed limits in the Kruger National Park are 50 km/h on tarred roads, 40 km/h on gravel roads and 20 km/h in rest camps. An average speed of 30 km/h is recommended on tourist roads to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment.
