Super 9 promotion is back by popular demand and you stand a chance to win a progressive jackpot starting from R5,000

How to enter

  • The promotion takes place every Wednesday at 18h30 and open to everyone - Emnotweni Rewards cardholders and non-cardholders.
  • Entry into the promotion is by way of cash buy-in (R20) at Cash Desk or points redemption to the value of 2,000 points per entry at the eHost machines on Wednesday from 9h00 – 17h30.
  • Emnotweni Rewards cardholders will receive 1 complimentary ticket to enter into the promotion.
  • Complimentary tickets must be printed at the eHost and exchanged at Cash Desk for the Super 9 game card.
  • Participants must select 9 unique numbers between 0 - 36 and record these on the Super 9 game card.
  • The ticket counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin between 9h00 – 18h00 once the participant has selected their 9 unique numbers.
  • The entry bin will close 30 mins (18h00) prior to the start of the promotion
  • Participants must be present on the day of the promotion when the wheel is spun to claim their prize/s.

How to stand a chance to win

  • Participants must match 9 numbers within the first 18 unique spins in order to win the progressive jackpot.
  • Should there be no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 spins, the progressive jackpot will roll over to the next promotion date.
  • The promotional team will continue to spin for the 2nd prize pool and the winner will win 50% of total buy-ins for the day.
  • The winner in the second prize pool will win 50% of the buy-ins of the day
  • Should no participant win the jackpot during the promotional period, a manual draw will be conducted on Wednesday 31 January and participants who bought in on the day will stand a chance of winning the jackpot.


Promotional Rules

  1. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition
  2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. The promotion is open to all – Rewards cardholders and non-cardholders
  4. Participants stand a chance to win a progressive jackpot starting from R5 000
  5. The Super 9 progressive jackpot will increase by R500 on the next promotional day if not won
  6. The promotion will take place on Wednesdays at 18h30 with entry activations closing an hour before at EHost and Cash Desk
  7. Entry into the promotion is by way of cash buy-in for R20 per Super 9 entry ticket at Cash Desk or 2000 points redemption at the eHost on the day of the promotion between 9h00 – 17h00 on Wednesdays
  8. Emnotweni Rewards cardholders who have earned 50 points will each receive one complimentary (1) entry ticket on the day of the promotion which can be redeemed at the EHost between 9h00 – 17h00 on Wednesday
  9. Complimentary entry tickets and points redemption tickets must be exchanged at Cash Desk for the Super 9 game card between the advertised times of which entries may be exchanged at Cash Desk
  10. Participants may buy-in or redeem points no more than 50 times per promotional day
  11. Super 9 game cards will consist of an original ticket and a counterfoil of which the counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin and the participant will remain with the original game card to verify against the numbers spun on the day
  12. Guests must select 9 unique numbers between 0 - 36 and record these on the Super 9 game card
  13. Participants may not select/fill in the same number twice on the Super 9 game card
  14. Super 9 Game cards with illegible numbers or altered/changed numbers without consultation with the promotion team will be considered invalid
  15. Should the participant wish to make changes to the Super 9 Game card, the promotion team must be consulted
  16. No changes to the Super 9 game card may be made once the ticket counterfoil has been inserted into the entry bin
  17. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the numbers completed on the Super 9 game card are clear and readable otherwise the ticket may be considered invalid.
  18. The ticket counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin between 9h00 – 18h00 on Wednesdays once the participant has selected their 9 unique numbers
  19. The entry bin/s to insert tickets will close 30 mins prior to the starting time of the promotion – 18h00 on Wednesdays
  20. On the day of the promotion, Cash Desk and Marketing will calculate/verify the amount of buy-ins an hour before the starting time of the promotion and 50% of the total amount will be added towards the jackpot prize which is considered the “1st pool” and the other 50% will go towards the “2nd prize pool”
  21. A promotional wheel will be used to generate the numbers on the promotional stage
  22. A dedicated dealer will spin the numbers
  23. The 1st spin of the day will be made from the number representing the day’s date on which the promotion is taking place and thereafter it will be spun from where the ball landed
  24. Numbers generated will be recorded on the leader board
  25. Participants must match 9 numbers within the first 18 spins in order to win the progressive jackpot
  26. It is the responsibility of the guest to make him/herself known to the promotions staff member/MC as a winner.
  27. The jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner to match the 9 numbers within the first 18 spins
  28. If the jackpot prize is won on the day, it will roll back to R5 000 on the next promotion day
  29. The winner of the jackpot (1st pool) may not use the same ticket to claim winnings of the 2nd pool (the other 50%)
  30. The winner in the second prize pool will win 50% cash of the total buy-ins of the day
  31. The prize on the second pool will be split equally should there be more than one winner
  32. It is the responsibility of the participants to check/ verify their numbers selected on the Super 9 game card against the numbers spun on the day of the promotion and to shout “Super9” should they match the numbers
  33. The participant will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage after the first 9 numbers have been spun and or announced. Should there be no winner verified within 90 seconds, the dealer will continue to spin the wheel until the winner is announced
  34. After the 18th spin, the dealer will stop spinning the wheel and the winner will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage
  35. Should there be no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 spins, the progressive jackpot will roll over to the next promotion date. The dealer will continue to spin for the second prize pool until the winner is announced
  36. The first guest to should Super 9 will and be verified will be announced as the winner and no guests may claim winnings after.

    Draw rules
     
  37. Should no participant win the jackpot during the promotional period (20 September 2017 – 31 January 2018), a manual draw will be conducted on the same day at 20h00
  38. Draw date and times will be advertised through the advertising mediums used for this promotion
  39. Draw tickets cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration
  40. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw
  41. Only one winner will be announced during the draw on 31 January 2018. The winner takes all the winnings
  42. Participants will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage in order to claim the prize
  43. The verification team will validate the ticket before the participant is announced as the winner
  44. Entries into the draw cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration
  45. All participants are required to be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s), unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to represent them during the draw
  46. Participants who do not wish to attend the draws must complete and sign the proxy form available at the Customer Service Desk on the day of the draw in person and with the nominee. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule.  Positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) must be presented by both the participant and the nominee when completing the proxy form
  47. The “proxy forms” will be available at the Customer Service Desk after no winner has been announced until 15 minutes before the draw on the day of the draw, where a participant can nominate a proxy to represent them to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced. The participant will be required to submit a copy of his/her positive and acceptable identification and the nominees’ positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID/ RSA drivers licence or passport). A redraw will occur should a participant/s or authorised representative not present themselves within 90 seconds
  48. Nominees can only represent one participant during the draw and multiple representations will lead to disqualification. Only the first participant represented will be considered
  49. Prize winners or authorised representatives who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards Programme Card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) belonging to the representative. 
  50. Should the winner not have the positive identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using Gamesmart System. Should proof of identification not be available on Gamesmart System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the finalist to present a valid and acceptable form of identification.
  51. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the winner they represent
  52. Prizes must be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not Nominees), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw at Emnotweni
  53. Prizes are not transferrable and may not be exchanged
  54. The jackpot prize advertised is the actual prize to be won
  55. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  56. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
  57. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used to conduct the draw, at the sole discretion of Management
  58. Every participant in this promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation
  59. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
