When to play
The Super9 promotion takes place every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 14h00 & 19h00.

  • Ticket print & Buy-ins for the 14h00 draw will take place between 09h00 & 13h00
  • Ticket print & Buy-ins for the 19h00 draw will take place between 09h00 & 18h00

How to play

  • You will receive an original ticket on which you will write 9 unique numbers between 0 - 36.
  • You need to drop duplicate of your ticket into the entry bin and keep the original.
  • Make sure you drop your ticket into the entry bin 5 min prior to the draw and retain the copy of your ticket for verification purposes.
  • Once you have entered a ticket for the draw at 14h00, it may not be used or considered for the evening 19h00 draw.

The Draws:
You will stand the chance to win the progressive jackpot starting at R10 000 FreePlay. The jackpot progresses by R1 000 per promotional day if it is not won.

The Entry details:

  • 50% of total buy-ins for the day will be added towards the main jackpot prize.
  • The remaining 50% of total buy-ins will be awarded as a consolation prize if the jackpot is not won, provided there are more than 10 buy-ins. If there are less than 10 buys-ins, 100% of the total buy-ins will be added to the main Jackpot prize and only 18 numbers will be drawn.
  • Participants must match 9 numbers within 18 numbers drawn to win the Progressive Jackpot. Jackpot winner takes 100% of total buy-ins.
  • If there is no winner after 18 numbers, numbers will be drawn until one/more participant matches 9 numbers and will win the consolation prize (50% of total buy-ins). The consolation prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner.
  • The Progressive Jackpot rolls over if there is no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 numbers drawn. Should there be more than 10 buy-ins, we will continue to draw the numbers/balls until the second prize pool winner is announced
  • A Tombola will be used to spin and generate numbers.
  • Numbers generated will be recorded and displayed on POW screens.
  • After 18 numbers drawn, participants will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage to claim the prize.
  • No participant may attempt to claim the prize after 90 seconds.
  • The Jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner.
  • All winners must register to the Rewards programme in order to claim/receive the prize.
  • Rewards members who have earned 50 points from 1 September 2019 – 27 March 2020 to qualify for complimentary 1 entry ticket per promotional day.
  • Complimentary tickets can be printed at the eHost machines between 9h00 – 18h00 on the day and exchanged for Super9 entry ticket at Cash Desk.
  • Participants must be present on the day of the promotion when the numbers are drawn to check their numbers against the numbers drawn and to claim the prize.
  • Should there be NO Jackpot winner on the last day of the promotion – 28 March 2020, a manual draw will be conducted at 20h00.

The Final Draw on 28 March 2020:

  • 3 winners will be selected and will share the Jackpot prize equally.
  • Winners will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage to be verified.
  • Winners must be present on the draw day unless they have nominated a proxy to act on their behalf. Proxy forms will be available at Customer Service Desk after the evening draw is completed and will close at 19h45

The verification team will validate tickets drawn and announce the winner

 Promotional Rules

  1. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition
  2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. The promotion is open to all – Rewards members and non - Rewards members
  4. Progressive jackpot starting at R10,000 FreePlay
  5. The Super 9 progressive jackpot will increase by R1,000 Cash on the next promotional day if not won
  6. The promotion will take place on Wednesdays, Friday & Saturday at 14h00 and 19h00, with buy-in entries closing an hour before at eHost and Cash Desk, 13h00 for afternoon session and 18h00 for evening session
  7. Refunds will be allowed and can take place between 9h00 - 13h00 and again between 14h00 – 18h00
  8. Entry into the promotion is by way of R20 cash buy-in at Cash Desk or 2,000 points redemption at the eHost per entry on the day of the promotion between 09h00 – 13h00 and 18h00
  9. Rewards members will be required to earn 50 points from 01 September 2019 – 27 March 2020 will qualify for complimentary tickets to be used the following month super9 draws. 1 ticket per day, Wednesday (1 ticket) Fridays (1 ticket) and Saturday (1 ticket)
  10. After all 18 numbers are drawn, 90 second will be given for any winner to claim the prize, should there 90 seconds lapses without anyone claiming the money then we roll over the amount, security will be keeping track of time.
  11. No one can claim the prize after the 90 seconds has lapsed. 
  12. Emnotweni Rewards members who have earned 50 points from 01 September 2019– 28 March 2020 can redeem their entry tickets on the day of the promotion between 09h00 – 13h00 and 18h00 on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
  13. Complimentary entry tickets and points redemption tickets must be exchanged at Cash Desk for the Super 9 entry tickets between the advertised times of which entries may be exchanged at Cash Desk
  14. Participants may buy-in or redeem points not more than 50 times per promotional day
  15. The winner of the jackpot within 18 numbers drawn takes/wins all and there will be no further drawing of numbers for the consolation prize
  16. The Super 9 entry ticket will consist of an original ticket and a counterfoil of which the counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin. The participant must retain the original ticket to verify against the numbers drawn on the day
  17. Guests must select 9 unique numbers between 0 - 36 and record these on the Super 9 entry ticket
  18. Participants may not select/fill in the same number twice on the Super 9 entry ticket
  19. Super 9 entry tickets with illegible numbers or altered/changed numbers will be considered invalid
  20. Should the participant wish to make changes to the Super 9 entry ticket, the promotional team including security must be consulted prior to inserting the ticket into the entry bin
  21. Marketing should sign for guests tickets with any cancelation or rectifying of numbers on it, if not signed by Marketing ticket will be void. And it is guests right to make sure that the ticket with cancelled numbers is signed by Marketing staff
  22. No changes may be made to the Super 9 entry ticket once the ticket counterfoil has been inserted into the entry bin.
  23. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the numbers completed/ selected on the Super 9 entry ticket are clear and readable otherwise the ticket will be considered invalid.
  24. The ticket counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin between 09h00 – 13h55 for the afternoon session and 09h00 until 18h55 for the evening session on Wednesdays, Friday & Saturday, once the participant has selected their 9 unique numbers.
  25. The entry bin/s to insert tickets will close 5 mins prior to the starting time of the promotion.
  26. On the day of the promotion, Cash Desk and Marketing will calculate/verify the amount of buy-ins prior to the starting time of the promotion. 50% of the total buy ins will be added towards the jackpot prize which is considered the “1st pool/consolation” and the remaining 50% will be added towards the “2nd prize pool”
  27. Uniquely numbered balls will be randomly drawn from the stage.  Balls will be numbered from 0-36.
  28. Numbers drawn will be recorded on the leader board
  29. Participants must match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn in order to win the progressive jackpot
  30. It is the responsibility of the participant/s to present themselves to the promotional team for verification within the time limit given.
  31. All participants are required to be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s), unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to represent them during the draw
  32. Participants that do not wish to attend/ be present the draw must complete and sign the proxy form available at the Customer Service Desk on the day of the draw in person and with the nominee. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant. Positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) must be presented by both the participant and the nominee when completing the proxy form
  33. The “proxy forms” will be available from 9h00 until 15 minutes before the draw at the Customer Service Desk after no winner is announced, where a participant can nominate a proxy to represent them to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced.
  34. The participant will be required to submit a copy of his/her positive and acceptable identification and the nominees’ positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID/ RSA drivers licence or passport). A redraw will occur should a participant/s or authorised representative not present themselves within 90 seconds
  35. Nominees can only represent one participant during the draw. Multiple representations will lead to disqualification. Only the first participant represented will be considered
  36. Prize winners or authorised representatives who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards Programme Card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) belonging to the representative.
  37. Should the winner not have the positive identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using Game smart System. Should proof of identification not be available on Game smart System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the finalist to present a valid and acceptable form of identification.
  38. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes available to the winner they represent
  39. The jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner to match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn
  40. The winner in the second prize pool/consolation will win 50% cash of the total buy-ins of the day
  41. The prize on the second pool will be split equally should there be more than one winner. Once the first winner is identified, other participants will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage to be verified as winners
  42. It is the responsibility of the participants to check/ verify their numbers selected on the Super 9 entry ticket against the numbers drawn on the day of the promotion.
  43. Participants will be given 90 seconds to be verified on stage after 18 numbers have been drawn/announced. Should there be no winner verified within 90 seconds, the promotions team we will continue to draw numbers for prize pool 2/consolation (50% buy-ins)
  44. Should there be no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 numbers drawn, the progressive jackpot will roll over to the next promotion date.
  45. Super9 Winner(s) must be signed up as Emnotweni Rewards member to claim the R10,000 FreePlay Jackpot prize

    Manual Draw 
  46. Should no participant/s win the jackpot prize during the promotional draw on 28 March, a manual draw will be conducted at 20h00
  47. Draw date and times will be advertised through the advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  48. Tickets for the draw cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration
  49. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw
  50. Only THREE unique winners will be announced to share the Jackpot prize equally on 28 March.
  51. A person can only win once at the 20h00 draw
  52. Participants will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage in order to claim the prize

  66. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  67. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
  68. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used to conduct the draw, at the sole discretion of Management
  69. Every participant in this promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation
  70. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
