From 9 November 2018 - 29 March 2019, you stand the chance to win progressive jackpot starting at R10,000 in our Super 9 promotion. So, make sure you get to Emnotweni every Wednesday and Friday for the draws at 13h00 and 19h00 for your chance to winning.  

How to play:  

  • Rewards members who have earned 200 points during the previous month will qualify for 1 entry ticket per promotional day. Additional tickets can be bought for R20 at our Cash Desk an hour before each draw.
  • The promotion takes place every Wednesday and Friday at 13h00 & 19h00
  • Rewards members can printed their entry tickets  at the eHost machines between 09h00 – 18h00 on the day and exchanged for Super 9 entry ticket at Cash Desk 
  • Additional entries can be bought for R20 at cash desk or redeem 2,000 points per ticket at the eHost 
  • You can print or buy in for the 13h00 draw between 08h00 – 12h00 and between 08h00 – 18h00 for the 19h00 draw 
  • You will receive an original ticket and a copy, for verification purposes.
  • You must select 9 unique numbers (between 0-36) and record these on your original entry ticket 
  • Make sure you place your completed Super 9 entry ticket into the entry bin no later than 30 minutes prior to the draw. Keep the copy of your ticket with you. 

How to win the Progressive Jackpot: 

You stand a chance to win the Progressive Jackpot starting at R10,000. The Jackpot progresses by R500 per promotional day if not won.

  • A Tombola will be used to spin and generate numbers.
  • Numbers generated will be recorded
  • You must match 9 numbers within the 18 numbers drawn to win the Progressive Jackpot. Jackpot winner takes 100% of total buy ins
  • After 18 numbers are drawn, you will be given 90 seconds to come to the stage to claim your prize, should your numbers match. Unfortunately, nobody may attempt to claim the prize after 90 seconds. 
  • If there is no winner after 18 numbers, numbers will be drawn until one or more players match 9 numbers and will win the consolation prize, which is 50% of total buy-ins. The consolation prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner.
  • The Jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner.
  • All winners must register to the Rewards programme in order to claim/receive the prize
  • Participants must be present on the day of the promotion when the numbers are drawn to check their numbers against the numbers drawn and to claim the prize
  • 50% of total buy-ins for the day will be added towards the main Jackpot prize.
  • The remaining 50% of total buy-ins will be awarded as a consolation prize if the Jackpot is not won, provided there is more than 10 buy-ins. If less than 10 buys-ins, 100% of total buy-ins will be added to the main Jackpot prize and only 18 numbers will be drawn
  • Should there be NO Jackpot winner on the last day of the promotion – 29 March 2019 – a manual draw will be conducted at 20h00

Promotional rules:

  1. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition
  2. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. The promotion is open to all – Rewards members and non - Rewards members
  4. Progressive jackpot starting at R10,000
  5. The Super 9 progressive jackpot will increase by R500 on the next promotional day if not won
  6. The promotion will take place on Wednesdays and Friday at 13h00 and 19h00, with buy-in entries closing an hour before at eHost and Cash Desk, 12h00 for afternoon session and 18h00 for evening session
  7. Refunds will be allowed and can take place between 09h00 - 12h00 and again between 13h00 – 18h00
  8. Entry into the promotion is by way of R20 cash buy-in at Cash Desk or 2000 points redemption at the eHost per entry on the day of the promotion between 09h00 – 12h00 and 18h00 
  9. Rewards members will be required to earn 200 points per month to qualify for complimentary tickets to be used the following month super9 draws. 1 ticket per day, Wednesday (1 ticket) and Fridays (1 ticket). 
  10. After all 18 numbers are drawn, 90 second will be given for any winner to claim the prize, should there 90 seconds lapses without anyone claiming the money then we roll over the amount, security will be keeping track of time 
  11. No one can claim the prize after the 90 seconds has lapsed 
  12. Emnotweni Rewards members who have earned 200 points the previous month can redeem their entry tickets on the day of the promotion between 09h00 – 12h00 and 18h00 on Wednesday and Friday
  13. Complimentary entry tickets and points redemption tickets must be exchanged at Cash Desk for the Super 9 entry tickets between the advertised times of which entries may be exchanged at Cash Desk
  14. Participants may buy-in or redeem points not more than 50 times per promotional day
  15. The winner of the jackpot within 18 numbers drawn takes/wins all and there will be no further drawing of numbers for the consolation prize
  16. The Super 9 entry ticket will consist of an original ticket and a counterfoil of which the counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin. The participant must retain the original ticket to verify against the numbers drawn on the day
  17. Guests must select 9 unique numbers between 0 - 36 and record these on the Super 9 entry ticket
  18. Participants may not select/fill in the same number twice on the Super 9 entry ticket
  19. Super 9 entry tickets with illegible numbers or altered/changed numbers will be considered invalid
  20. Should the participant wish to make changes to the Super 9 entry ticket, the promotional team including security must be consulted prior to inserting the ticket into the entry bin
  21. Marketing should sign for guests tickets with any cancelation or rectifying of numbers on it, if not signed by Marketing ticket will be void. And it is guests right to make sure that the ticket with cancelled numbers is signed by Marketing staff
  22. No changes may be made to the Super 9 entry ticket once the ticket counterfoil has been inserted into the entry bin.
  23. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the numbers completed/ selected on the Super 9 entry ticket are clear and readable otherwise the ticket will be considered invalid.
  24. The ticket counterfoil must be inserted into the entry bin between 09h00 – 13h00 for the afternoon session and 09h00 until 19h00 for the evening session on Wednesdays and Friday, once the participant has selected their 9 unique numbers 
  25. The entry bin/s to insert tickets will close 30 mins prior to the starting time of the promotion.
  26. On the day of the promotion, Cash Desk and Marketing will calculate/verify the amount of buy-ins prior to the starting time of the promotion. 50% of the total buy ins will be added towards the jackpot prize which is considered the “1st pool/consolation” and the remaining 50% will be added towards the “2nd prize pool”
  27. Uniquely numbered balls will be randomly drawn from the stage. Balls will be numbered from 0-36.
  28. Numbers drawn will be recorded on the leader board
  29. Participants must match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn in order to win the progressive jackpot
  30. It is the responsibility of the participant/s to present themselves to the promotional team for verification within the time limit given.
  31. All participants are required to be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s), unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to represent them during the draw 
  32. Participants that do not wish to attend/ be present the draw must complete and sign the proxy form available at the Customer Service Desk on the day of the draw in person and with the nominee. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant. Positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) must be presented by both the participant and the nominee when completing the proxy form
  33. The “proxy forms” will be available from 09h00 until 15 minutes before the draw at the Customer Service Desk after no winner is announced, where a participant can nominate a proxy to represent them to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced. 
  34. The participant will be required to submit a copy of his/her positive and acceptable identification and the nominees’ positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID/ RSA drivers licence or passport). A redraw will occur should a participant/s or authorised representative not present themselves within 90 seconds
  35. Nominees can only represent one participant during the draw. Multiple representations will lead to disqualification. Only the first participant represented will be considered
  36. Prize winners or authorised representatives who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must be in possession of evidence of the winning ticket and/or Rewards Programme Card belonging to the winner; and positive and acceptable form of identification (RSA ID, RSA driver’s licence or passport) belonging to the representative. 
  37. Should the winner not have the positive identification, reasonable steps shall be taken to verify the winner using Game smart System. Should proof of identification not be available on Game smart System or the system is offline, verification will not be possible and the onus is on the finalist to present a valid and acceptable form of identification.
  38. Nominees shall not be entitled to any prize(s) or benefits and shall not take receipt of prizes available to the winner they represent
  39. The jackpot prize will be split equally should there be more than one winner to match 9 numbers within the first 18 numbers drawn
  40. The winner in the second prize pool/consolation will win 50% cash of the total buy-ins of the day
  41. The prize on the second pool will be split equally should there be more than one winner. Once the first winner is identified, other participants will be given 90 seconds to present themselves on stage to be verified as winners
  42. It is the responsibility of the participants to check/ verify their numbers selected on the Super 9 entry ticket against the numbers drawn on the day of the promotion.
  43. Participants will be given 90 seconds to be verified on stage after 18 numbers have been drawn/announced. Should there be no winner verified within 90 seconds, the promotions team we will continue to draw numbers for prize pool 2/consolation (50% buy-ins)
  44. Should there be no winner matching 9 numbers within 18 numbers drawn, the progressive jackpot will roll over to the next promotion date.

    Manual Draw – 29 March 2019
     
  45. Should no participant/s win the jackpot prize during the promotional period (9 November 2018 – 29 March 2018), a manual draw will be conducted on 29 March 2019 at 20h00 
  46. Draw date and times will be advertised through the advertising mediums used for this promotion 
  47. Tickets for the draw cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration 
  48. Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw 
  49. Only THREE winners will be announced to share the Jackpot prize equally, meaning it has to be 3 unique ticketholders drawn to win on 31 October 2018. If one ticketholder is drawn more than once then there will be a redraw until we draw a unique ticket. 
  50. Ticketholder can only win once
  51. Participants will have 90 seconds to be verified on stage in order to claim the prize 
  52. The verification team will validate the ticket before the participant is announced as the winner 
  53. All participants are required to be present for the draw on the respective dates and times to be eligible for the prize(s), unless they have nominated an authorised representative/ proxy to represent them during the draw

  62. Prizes are not transferrable and may not be exchanged 
  63. The jackpot prize advertised is the actual prize to be won 
  64. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  65. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified
  66. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used to conduct the draw, at the sole discretion of Management
  67. Every participant in this promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation
  68. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
