Together with Giving and Sharing, comes a time of love. Throwing you back to a time when music was the center of love. With Clint Brink, Jamali, Ernie Smith and many others, San Entertainment are throwing you back to the beginning of R&B and Soul.

It is time to go back to that song that played the first time you kissed a girl. To go back to a time when music was poetry. For this reason, San Entertainment has brought together some of the finest South African talents to Throw you Back to Love.

CLINT BRINK needs no introduction. He has been on the music scene for over a decade. A consummate actor and musician, Clint has been gracing our screens since the days of Backstage. He is very well known for his leading role in Dollars and White Pipes, as well as TV programmes including: Generations, Scandal and most recently KYKNET’s Hit Soap BINNELANDERS. Clint’s music has influenced young and upcoming artist.

JAMALI is a South African female musical group. The members are Jacqui Carpede, Mariechan Luiters and Liesl Penniken. The band was formed on the TV show Coca-Cola Popstars.[1] Their name is from the first two letters of each of their names. Jamali was the runner-up to the boy band Ghetto Lingo. Although Ghetto Lingo was the winners of Popstars, Jamali has outsold Ghetto Lingo in terms of popularity and TV appearances. Liesl Penniken, Mariechan Luiters, and Jacqui Carpede made their début on South Africa’s airwaves with their first radio single “Greatest Love.” And years later we are still humming the Jamali Hit: LOVE ME FOR ME!

ERNIE SMITH has become synonymous with fine craftsmanship of quality contemporary jazz and urban music. He is possessed with the rare talent of appealing to music lovers from a wide spectrum of tastes and his unflappable work ethic has seen him remain at the top of his game. He is an award winning South African recording Artist. He has recorded with the likes of Jonathan Butler, Kirk Whallum, Neville D, Bebe Winans, John Ellis and many more. In 2001 Ernie Smith released his first Album, “Child of the Light”, which went on to win Major acclaim, seeing him win 1 SAMA award for Best New Comer, 1 SAMA for best adult contemparay and 1 KORA award for “Most Promising Male in Africa”. The South African star then went on to release his second Album “Lovely Things” which gave him access to a younger Rnb/Jazz audience, winning him a SAMA award for Best Jazz Adult Contemporary Album, 2002 and a METRO award for Best Jazz Artist, 2003.

BIANCE LE GRANGE music career was formed around a lifelong focus on entertainment, including long-term and dedicated training. But it was boosted to the big time by the mixed blessings of reality TV when she appeared on the talent search, Idols (SA)2002. This saw the release of four albums and several of her own live shows including Bianca and the swing sisters, Bianca Revealed and the Now and Then show. She has become the opening act on three international shows featuring Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Usher.

TERRA COX known as one of your favourite Idols of 2016 that blew South African audiences away with his renditions of songs like Will You Be There and Love on the Brain, this young performer was born with Soul. Terra hails from Alberton and has been singing before he said his first words. This young talented star is about to Throw your Back to Love.
