Stand a chance to win your share of over R260,000 in CASH and FreePlay! Simply play Tables games to qualify for draw tickets.  
Draws will take place on the following Saturdays: 

Draws take place at 18h00, 19h00, 20h00 and 21h00  from 14, 21 and 28 December 2019
Draws take place at 18h00, 19h00, 20h00 and 21h00 on 04, 11, 18 and 25 January 2020
Draws take place at 18h00, 19h00, 20h00 and 21h00 on 01, 08, 15, 22 and 29 February 2020

  • Any player playing any Tables game, namely Blackjack, Roulette or Poker, from the previous Friday 08h01 up until the current Friday 07h59, will receive one ticket redeemable from the eHost from 10am on the draw day.
  • One entry bin will be available for the players to place their entry ticket into.
  • Five tickets will be drawn from the bin.
  • The drawn players will then go to the tournament game where they will be given tournament chips/dice to play with.
  • Hold em or fold em: 14 December to 4 January 2019
    • The first ticket draw will be the first person to play the game and it will follow in that order.
    • The player will be give R1000 worth of tournament chips
    • The player will be dealt 5 cards all face down.
    • The dealer will then deal 3 cards face down to the dealer position
    • The player will then bet on each card blind, must play all of his chips, does not have to play all boxes.
    • After the player has completed his betting on his blind hand, the his cards will then be turned over. 
    • The player must then choose 2 cards to fold and forfeit the bet and 3 cards to hold and continue the game.
    • For every player’s card that is of a higher value than the dealer, the players bet will be halved and lost.
    • For every player’s card that is of a lower value than the dealer, the players bet will pay 2 to 1.
    • Same card total for player and dealer is a standoff and the player keeps their money
    • Ace counts as 1 being the lowest card, all other cards are of face value.
    • Should the player and dealer both have a Ace the players wins at 2 to 1.
    • Joker drawn to the player will reveal an instant prize of R500 FreePlay, the game will continue as normal.
    • The player with the highest score for that round will win the first prize and will continue in succession to the 5th place prize.
    • In the event of a tie, the players that have equal totals will play again to determine a winner for the tied position.
  • Roll the Dice: 11 January to 1 February 2020
    • Players playing positions will be as tickets are drawn.
    • Each player will be given 3 turns to roll the dice taking it in turns, and will move according to the rules,
    • Roll 7 – Go back to the beginning
    • Double 4 move half of one of the dice, your move for 4 will be 2.
    • Roll 1 – Double your 1 and add to your other dice to move
    • Double 6 – Instant Winner (should an instant winner be selected on the first roll, all players will roll the dice that round to establish winning positions, should 2 players roll a double 6, they will play in a playoff for first  and second position)
    • All other moves are of combined dice value
    • The first person to reach the winner box will take first position, the game will end.  The following 4 winning positions will be calculated by their final positions on the board.
    • Should your dice roll exceed the positions needed to place you in the Winners box you, you will automatically land in this box.
    • Should no one have reached the winner box by the end of the 3 rolls of the dice per player, winners will be determined from the highest to lowest position advanced on the board.
  • Face Up Blackjack – 8 to 29 February 2020
    • The players seating position will be decided as per the tickets drawn
    • R25 limits will apply - 1 player per box.
    • 2 stacks of tournament chips at R25min, R1000 in tournament chips
    • 5 hands
    • Players must place a bet every hand, all playing chips must be visible on the table at all times.
    • Dealer will draw 2 cards to the players and two cards to himself face up in the initial deal
    • Blackjack is an automatic win but pays even money.
    • Standoff equals a losing bet for the player.
    • No insurance, surrenders or side bets allowed.
    • Joker drawn to the player will reveal an instant prize of R500 FreePlay, the game will continue as normal.
    • All other normal Blackjack rules apply.
    • A chip count will be made after hand 3.
    • The player with the highest score at the end of the 5 hands will win the first prize.
    • The second and third prizes will be won by the highest losing scores from the 5 hands played
    • In the event of a tie, the tied players will battle it out in one hand to determine the winner The players will each receive 1 stack of R25 chips to play with
  • All chips won during the events will remain at the tables
  • The entry bins will be available on the Saturday from 10am until the start of each draw.
  • Players can only be drawn once each hour and have 90 seconds to get to the promotional area.

Promotional Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members 
  4. Participants will earn a draw tickets by playing Tables whilst using their Hemingways Rewards cards 
    • This promotion is open exclusively to Hemingways Rewards cardholders only. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration.
    • Any player playing any Tables game, namely Blackjack, Roulette or Poker, Friday 08h01 up until the current Friday 07h59, will receive one ticket redeemable from the eHost available from 10am on the draw day.
    • Draws take place at 18h00, 19h00, 20h00 and 21h00.
    • Five tickets will be drawn from each bin for each game that will be played.
    • The drawn players will then go to the respective tables where they will be given tournament chips to play with.
    • Hold em or Fold em will be one hand per player for 5 players drawn
    • Roll the Dice – 3 turns per player, unless out the game according to game rules.
    • Face up Blackjack – 5 hands
  5. Participants must activate their entry and enter their draw ticket into the draw(s), on the day of the draw(s) prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through mediums used within the casino 
  6. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, a re-draw will take place
  7. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes 
  8. Participants are only permitted to be drawn once to win at any of the draws. Should a participant that has already been drawn, get drawn a second time, a redraw will be held.  
  9. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified 
  10. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management 
  11. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation 
  12. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force

  14. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the ECGBB for investigation and final decision.
