Diving in the Seychelles is truly special, with sharks, turtles, rays and clownfish, sponges and corals, humphead parrot fish, angel fish and butterfly fish as well as octopus and more than 880 other species to be discovered at a variety of dive sites where the underwater landscape is a mix of granite formations and coral gardens.

PADI Courses

PADI is the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. The world’s leading scuba diver training organization. White Tip Divers on Praslin runs a number of PADI courses for absolute first timers as well as recreational divers looking to experience something more advanced in some of the prettiest dive sites in the world.

Discover Scuba Diving

The perfect way to get acquainted with the how-to’s of scuba. Learn what the equipment is for and how to move and breathe underwater. You’ll be taught the basics to see if you want to take it further.

Scuba Diver

A shorter less comprehensive course than the Open Water Diver course. Great for anyone planning to go with a dive guide and dive no deeper than 12 metres.

Open Water Diver

This is the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba diving course. Get qualified and use this qualification around the world. With OWD you can dive down to 18 metres and explore with confidence a world unseen from the surface.

More than 15 of the Seychelles top scuba diving spots include some as close as a 5 minutes boat ride and some an hour or so away for deeper dives and greater chances of different species. Dive sites are always assessed before diving, and with plenty of alternative spots nearby, a change in site is easy when needed
