Air

MAIA’s private helipad allows for not only easy arrivals and departures in style but can be utilized for Seychelles-from-above sightseeing. Suggested itineraries include Praslin and La Digue day trips, golf experiences, sunset flights and Aride bird sanctuary visits, as well as tours and island explorations customized to your requirements. Helicopter excursion highlights include:

Mystical Grand Barbe - get dropped off on a secluded 1km beach on Silhouette island for the ultimate in castaway-chic.

Praslin & La Digue - take a La Digue bicycle or traditional ox-cart tour followed by a speedy boat transfer to Praslin. A driver will take you to Valle de Mai and Anse Lazio for the complete Praslin experience followed by a flight back to MAIA.

Earth

The forest and mountain interior of Mahé, the unique endemic plants of Praslin and the lush greenery of many of the Seychelles granitic islands open-up a world of exploring beyond the beach and ocean. 

Mahé hiking highlights: 

Copolia Trail – 1.5 hours. One for those looking for least exertion for maximum rewards. The trail climbs up and opens onto a 360-degree island view. With weather conditions in your favour walkers can see coast to coast. 

Mare aux Cochons – 3 hours. Not one, but several trail routes deep within the dappled light and towering palms of the Morne Seychelles National Park. Choose a route depending on fitness and keenness.

Anse Major – 2 hours. From jungle to beach, this is the perfect combination of what makes the Seychelles special. Beginning in Bel Ombre and climbing through a mixture of sinewy granite paths, lush greenery and photo-worthy panoramas, the trail ends with a refreshing swim off the pretty and quiet Anse Major beach.
