Snorkeling on Coco Island
Renowned as being one of the most beautiful snorkeling spots in the Seychelles and definitely one of the best experiences you can have. This Island is surrounded by a small plateau of coral, where a very wide variety of tropical fish feed. This is a real treat for either experienced or beginner snorkelers, as there is the possibility of seeing Parrot fish, Rays, Surgeon fish, Moorish Idol, turtles and many other species.
Curieuse Island (10 minutes by boat)
A former Leper colony from 1833 until 1965 where the doctor’s house has remained as a museum. It is now mainly known for its giant tortoises which number over 500 and the only place where you can see them freely walking around. This is a must do for nature lovers.
Aride Island (30 minutes by boat)
Aride Island is the 2nd most important as a nature reserve just after Aldabra. More than 1 million sea birds nest on Aride every year between the Lesser Noddy and the most known Fregate bird.
