Cote d’Or Beach

Seychelles Hotel On The Beach

With over 2km of powder-soft white sand when the tide is out, Cote d’Or beach is one of the prettiest and longest stretches of sand in the Seychelles archipelago. Our Seychelles beach resort is tucked away in the best position at the quiet end of the beach. Giant granite boulders border the beach to the west, our tropical gardens are to the south, turquoise blue and the islands of St Pierre and Chauve Souris are to the north and a stretch of sand points towards Cote d’Or village to the east.

Beach Activities

Aside from being powder soft sand perfect for volleyball and beach soccer, the water is shallow and warm (always around 29degrees). The soft sand and lack of reefs immediately in front of the hotel makes the water perfect for lazy bath-warm swimming and great for snorkeling beginners.

Beach Clubhouse

Gentle waves make it easy to try your hand at stand up paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking. Great snorkeling can be enjoyed a short swim or paddle out towards Chauve Souris. This little private island offers clear water and more fish and is just 300 metres from the beach. Visit our Beach Clubhouse to pick up your SUP, canoe, kayak or snorkel for free if you’re staying at Paradise Sun.

Beach Care

The Paradise Sun team looks after Cote d’Or beach in front of the resort keeping it free from seaweed and always looking good. Aside from use of the Beach Clubhouse snorkels, games, kayaks and SUPs there are plenty of sun loungers with shade provided by sun umbrellas, palms and takamaka trees.

Beach Service

Guests of Paradise Sun can also enjoy waiter sunbed beach service provided by St Pierre Beach Restaurant from 10h00 to 17h00. Order a Mojito Seychelles style while reading your holiday novel or an island fresh prawn Caesar salad while the kids enjoy the water.

Cote d’Or Village

The village is small but charming. A little grocery store as well as some local craft and gift buying can be done a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Walk along the beach when the tide is out or on a path from the hotel.

Both Sagittarius Water Taxis and White Tip Divers are located on the beach, so you can go from bed to beach to island hopping all within a 30 second walk from your bungalow bedroom.
