  • Kgaswane Mountain Reserve

Also known as Rustenburg Nature Reserve, this reserve offers a number of hiking trails to allow you to explore the northern slopes and the summit of the western Magaliesberg Mountains. You will find it just south of Rustenburg, so it makes for an ideal outing. You may get to see kudu, springbok, and oribi, amongst other game. Some predators found here are jackal, caracal and leopard. For birders there is about 320 species to add to your ‘spotted’ list. 

  • Sun City

About a 44-minute drive from Rustenburg, this is world-famous attraction. Take a day to enjoy the Valley of the Waves Water Park and get lost in a world of fun, games and shopping in the Entertainment Centre. There is much to see and do, so be sure to plan out your day well.
