Silverstar welcomed the new year with a brand new promotion READY SET DRIVE, but we were unfortunately interrupted by COVID 19 level 5 lockdown. THE GOOD NEWS, yes we all need that right now, is we are doing prize fulfilments of the three CARS included in the previously postponed Ready Set Drive promotion.

  • 20 July – Black Rewards cardholders Hilux Car Draw
  • 27 July – All Rewards cardholders Haval Car Draw
  • 03 August – All Rewards cardholders Haval Car Draw

Hilux Draw – exclusive to Black cardholders

Here’s how it works:

  • Guests can no longer earn tickets entries into the draw
  • All active Black cardholders who would have qualified for entries as at 24 March 2020 will be eligible for entry into the draw
  • Guests were required to earn 5,000 points per entry
  • Guests will need to swipe their cards Silverstar Rewards card at the eHost in order to activate their entries and print ticket receipts
  • Ticket printing will commence at 08h00 from 15 July until 20h00 on 25 July.
  • Draw will be exclusively for Black cardholder
  • Electronic draw will take place on 20 July at 13h00 and will be broadcasted on the Silverstar Facebook page
  • Guests will not be invited to attend the draws.
  • Finalists will be drawn using TEEDS. Only the finalists patron number will be announced and verification will take place when finalists are invited to the prize reveal
  • Selected finalists will be notified by telephone of their selection and invited to the prize reveal on Wednesday, 22 July. The draw will take place at 19h00 at Silverstar Casino floor.

Haval Draw 1 & 2 

Here’s how it works:

  • Electronic draws will take place on 27 July and 03 August at 13h00 and will be broadcasted on the Silverstar Facebook page
  • Guests will need to swipe their cards Silverstar Rewards card at the eHost in order to activate their entries and print ticket receipts
  • Ticket printing will commence at 08h00 from 22 July until 20h00 on 26 July for Draw 1 – 27 July.
  • Ticket printing will commence at 08h00 from 29 July until 20h00 on 02 August for Draw 2 – 03 August.
  • Draws will take place at 13h00 on the respective dates. Draws will take place at Silverstar Casino floor. Guests will not be invited to attend the draws.
  • Finalists will be drawn using TEEDS. Only the finalists patron number will be announced and verification will take place when finalists are invited to the prize reveal
  • Prizes will be allocated in the order of selection, at total of 9 finalists will be drawn, the first 6 finalists will be awarded cash and FreePlay prizes and only the last 3 finalists drawn will be invited to the prize reveal, for a chance to win the car.
  • Selected finalists will be notified by telephone of their selection and invited to the prize reveal on Wednesday, 29 July for draw 1 and Wednesday, 05 August for draw 2 at 19h00.

Promotional Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  4. This promotion is open to Gold, Platinum and Black Silverstar Rewards cardholders. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration as only points earned during the promotional period will be considered. (01 January – 24 March 2020). The more points you earn, the more tickets you get! There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can earn. Participants earn points by playing Slots or Tables whilst using their Silverstar Rewards card.
  5. Qualifiers may not be drawn more than once on the same day in any draw. A redraw will be done should the same finalist be drawn on the draw.
    • Qualification criteria for the Car draws are as follows:
      1. Gold cardholder: 500 points = 1 ticket entry
      2. Platinum cardholder: 500 points = 1 ticket entry
      3. Black cardholder : 500 points = 1 ticket entry
      • All active Rewards cardholders will be issued a free entry for the first draw
    • Qualification criteria for the Black cardholder Car draw:
      • Black cardholder : 5,000 points = 1 ticket entry
  6. Finalists and/or Prize winners will be selected by way of random selection for all draws. Draw times and dates will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  7. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s), prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which the entry bins are open. The opening and closing times for the entry bins will be advertised through advertising mediums for this promotion.
  8. Only selected finalists will be invited to attend the draw(s) prize reveal.
  9. All Invited finalists are required to be present at the draws on the respective dates/times to be eligible for a Prize: Provided that if a finalist elects not to be present in person when the winner(s) are announced, the finalist may nominate another person who has been duly authorised in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a finalist in the form and manner determined by management, the details of which will be available at the Customer Services Desk. Refer to proxy nomination form.
  10. Finalist who are unable to be present at the prize reveal and have not nominated a representative, will be allocated a representative by management, who will represent them at the prize reveal.
  11. Prescribed proxy nomination forms will be available for this purpose and will be sent to finalist to complete or will be available from the Customer Service Desk.
  12. Persons acting on behalf of eligible finalists must acknowledge that he or she is merely acting on behalf of eligible finalist and that he or she is not entitled to prizes and benefits awarded to finalists or prize winners.
  13. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the draw, then nominate a representative, the Casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the register or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances the prize winner may claim the prize within 15 days from the day of the draw at the casino.
  14. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
  15. Collectively this promotion will see over R3.2 Million in Cash and Cars.
  16. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  17. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  18. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  19. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  20. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
