- The Tsogo Rewards programme is a multi-partner reward programme operated on behalf of all participating entities (“Tsogo Sun Group”).
- Only persons who are 18 years or older are eligible to sign up for the Tsogo Rewards programme. Juristic, excluded and self-excluded persons may not participate in Tsogo Rewards programme.
- Valid positive and acceptable forms of identification will be required. Photographic images of Tsogo Rewards members may be required for inclusion into the gaming system. Copies of each of these documents may be retained by the participating entities.
- Tsogo Sun reserves the right, amongst other rights, to amend card status or withdraw cards at its sole discretion. In addition, Tsogo Sun reserves the right to suspend or terminate programme participation where Tsogo Rewards members are in breach of the terms and conditions, including but not limited to, qualification criteria.
- The card status is determined by the Tsogo Rewards member’s activity in all aspects of the Tsogo Rewards programme.
- It is the Tsogo Rewards member’s responsibility to insert the gaming card into electronic gaming devices or hand it in at table games during play.
- The gaming card remains the property of Tsogo Sun Group and it reserves the right to levy a fee to replace lost, stolen or damaged cards.

- Specific terms and conditions apply to individual rewards, benefits and special offers. Furthermore, Tsogo Sun reserves the right without consultation with Tsogo Rewards members or any prior approval thereof, to amend the terms and conditions for programme participation, including but not limited to alliance with other programmes. Equally rewards, benefits, points earned, special offers, awards, expiry periods and rates at which points are earned may be amended.
- Tsogo Rewards members may be required to present their gaming cards together with a positive and acceptable form of identification when utilizing their card for certain transactions and/or claiming of prizes, special offers or redeeming of vouchers.
- Complimentary services are extended to one Tsogo Rewards member at the relevant entity’s discretion.
- Members are required to notify the relevant participating entity of any changes in address or personal details, either in writing or in person at the Customer Service Desk.
- Tsogo Rewards members without any activity in areas of Tsogo Rewards programme that generate points earning for a significant period of time will not be considered for special offers and benefits. In addition, programme participation may be terminated accordingly.
- Further terms, conditions and rules may be applicable from time to time, which will be specific to the promotional offering. Tsogo Rewards members may visit the Tsogo Rewards programme for the latest terms, conditions and rules that may be applicable to Tsogo Rewards programme and specific promotional offers.
- Tsogo Rewards members may elect not to be included in Tsogo Sun Group’s marketing communications list by opting out at any time by clicking on unsubscribe in email communication or replying STOP to opt out of SMS communication. A reasonable period should be allowed for Tsogo Sun Group to give effect to aforementioned opt-out request; hence the Tsogo Rewards member may receive marketing communication during the transitional period.
- Tsogo Sun Group reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel Tsogo Rewards programme at any time with prior notice. In addition, the use of points and/or benefits may be suspended from time to time with notice thereof.
- The participating entity will be recording information relating to the Tsogo Rewards member each time the card is utilised for Tsogo Rewards programme purposes. The recorded information, will be utilised by the participating entity to reward Tsogo Rewards members accordingly and to further obtain and process information for historical, statistical and research purposes. Such information will be retained for a period that is appropriate to serve the legitimate business interests of Tsogo Sun Group.
- Programme participants provide express consent to Tsogo Sun Group for the processing and further processing of their personal and special personal information for lawful purposes as set out in Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013, to enable Tsogo Sun Group to sign up participants to the Tsogo Rewards programme and manage the functions associated. Refer to the Tsogo Sun Privacy Policy for information regarding personal information collected from participants, including the purpose for which information is collected and the further processing of participants’ personal information. Requests for the deletion, amendment or updating of personal information should be made in writing by the data subject.
- Programme participants indemnify and hold harmless, Tsogo Sun Group, its subsidiaries, management and employees against any legal action, claim or suit, including but not limited to non-compliance in respect of consent requirements.
- Tsogo Rewards reserves the right to reverse or deduct any points that are incorrectly allocated to a member’s account as a result of error, system, technical issue, or human error.
- Where such points have already been redeemed, the member may remain liable for the value of those points and may be required to reimburse Tsogo Rewards accordingly.
- Points can be earned for your spend at participating entities.
- Points at participating Tsogo Rewards entities are transferable between all participating entities.
- Gaming cards can only be used at gaming devices of the casino or bingo entity where the card was issued.
- Points are valid for 12 months from first date of issue, after which period they expire. Unused points older than 12 months will be forfeited.
- The accumulation of points by other persons on behalf of the registered Tsogo Rewards member is expressly prohibited and is grounds for termination of programme participation and forfeiture of points and benefits.
Members earn 2% of qualifying spend at Tsogo Sun casinos, hotels and participating outlets in Tsogo Rewards points. Qualifying spend is defined as money played while gaming, full rate spend on accommodation, food and beverages at Tsogo Sun owned casinos, hotels and participating outlets.
Tsogo Rewards points will not be awarded for certain types of roulette play, including roulette played on multi-game IGT slot machines at Tsogo Sun casinos.

- Qualifying criteria for offers and benefits of the Tsogo Rewards programme shall be commensurate with the activity status of the Tsogo Rewards member.
- Partner reward programmes linked to Tsogo Rewards programme operate independently, subject to their own terms and conditions.
- Tsogo Sun shall not be liable for any loss (including loss of income), injury, death and/or damages of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising, including negligence on the part of Tsogo Sun, which may occur as the result of the use of any products, goods or services offered by partner programmes.
- Rewards can be earned for your spend at participating entities.
- The required number of points must be earned over a specific period to qualify for rewards.
- Rewards are restricted to the periods and offering as advertised. The reward is neither transferable nor shall it be replaced if it is lost or stolen.
- Rewards cannot be redeemed for anything other than what the reward relates to and no change will be given.
- A minimum of 72-hours shall pass from the time of the reward being earned and the time that it becomes available for redemption.
- The reward will be available for collection at the eHost or App within the dates specified in for the offer.
- All other standard Tsogo Rewards programme terms and conditions apply in addition to the above.
- Tsogo Rewards reserves the right to reverse or deduct any points that are incorrectly allocated to a member’s account as a result of error, system, technical issue, or human error.

Qualifying criteria for the various discounts, offers, benefits or other rewards of the Tsogo Rewards programme shall be commensurate with the Tier Status level of the Member in the Tsogo Rewards programme. Some room types for example, Presidential Suites and the hotels Penthouse are excluded from member rates.
- Tsogo Points, and Tsogo Rewards programme participation, discounts, offers, benefits and other rewards are not transferable.
- Tsogo Rewards programme discounts, offers, benefits and other rewards may not be used in conjunction with other offers and/or benefits of unrelated rewards/customer loyalty programmes, unless approved in writing by Tsogo Sun.
- Tsogo Sun reserves the right, without consulting members, and without requiring any prior approval by members, to amend Tsogo Rewards programme Terms & Conditions, including without limitation, the types and/or value of the discounts, offers, benefits and/or other rewards offered at any time, the qualifying criteria to participate in the Tsogo Rewards programme, The Tsogo Rewards programme’s affiliation to any benefit provider/s and/or other loyalty programme/s, and the like. In addition, the expiry dates of any Tsogo Points and/or the discounts, offers, benefits and/or other rewards offered at any time, and rates at which Tsogo Points are earned may be amended in Tsogo Sun’s discretion from time to time.
- The Tsogo Points earned are valid for use at participating Tsogo Sun hotels and Casinos in South Africa. The participating Tsogo Sun hotels and Casinos may be changed from time to time and such changes will be published under Tsogo Rewards programme Terms & Conditions on this website.
- All hotel bookings made using Tsogo Points are subject to the existing hotel terms and conditions prevailing at the time of booking, including meal and children’s policies.
- Members are required to keep their membership information up to date at all times, and to notify Tsogo Sun of any changes in address or personal details, by clicking or in person at the Front desk of any one of Tsogo Sun’s hotels.
- Partner reward/customer loyalty programmes linked to the Tsogo Rewards programme operate independently and subject to their own terms and conditions. Neither Tsogo Sun nor any of its directors, agents or employees shall be liable for any loss, damage/s, injury, death or otherwise which may be caused to any Member (or any dependent, guest or invitee of such Member), as the result of the use of any products, goods or services offered by such partner programmes, howsoever such loss, damage/s, injury, death or otherwise may occur, and whether as a result of any foreseen or unforeseen event or any act or omission on the part of Tsogo Sun, its directors, or employees or otherwise.
- Tsogo Sun reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel the Tsogo Rewards programme at any time without prior written notice. In addition, the use of Tsogo Points may be suspended from time to time without prior written notice thereof.
- Members hereby indemnify and hold harmless Tsogo Sun (and its successors) its directors, past directors, agents and/or employees or past employees (in whose favour where applicable this constitutes a stipulation alteri capable of acceptance at any time) against any claim of any nature whatsoever (including but not limited to any loss, damage/s, injury, death or otherwise) howsoever arising that may be made against Tsogo Sun (or its successors) its directors, past directors, agents, employees or past employees by any third party as a result of or in connection with the Tsogo Rewards programme, any discounts, offers, benefits or other rewards offered or taken up pursuant thereto or otherwise in terms of the Tsogo Rewards programme, whether negligently or in breach of its/their obligations to the Member or otherwise.
- All hotel customer/guest related queries should be directed to the applicable hotel’s front desk.
- Tsogo Points and the Tsogo Rewards programme’s discounts, offers, benefits and other rewards are only available where the Member claiming such Tsogo Points, discount/s, offer/s, benefit/s or other reward/s is the personal recipient thereof, and where used for the booking and/or payment of any hotel rooms, the Member personally occupies the room so booked and/or paid for. When special offers allow for the booking of more than one hotel room, the Member must personally accompany his/her invitees and personally occupy one of the rooms so booked to be able to receive the special rates and/or any other benefits.
Tsogo Rewards members are eligible for accommodation discounts on a maximum of 2 rooms per stay. Rooms booked in excess of the 2 rooms will be subject to the applicable public rate at the time of booking.
- Should a Member misplace or forget his/her confidential PIN, he/she should login to https://rewards.tsogosun.com and reset same.
- By making use of the Tsogo Rewards programme, members acknowledge that they are aware of Tsogo Rewards programme Terms & Conditions.
- Members must provide their Tsogo Rewards membership number when making Tsogo Sun hotel bookings and again upon check-in at the Tsogo Sun hotel in order to ensure that the Member earns Tsogo Points and/or receives the applicable membership discount/s, benefit/s and/or reward/s.
- Members may choose to opt out of email marketing communication at any stage by clicking on unsubscribe or by replying STOP to opt out of SMS communication. Members will however continue to receive communications regarding their membership for as long as they remain members.
Rewards Tiers
- The number of Tsogo Rewards points required to be earned to achieve each Tier:
- 10-Tier: Entry level
- J-Tier: 10,000 Tsogo Points
- Q-Tier: 100,000 Tsogo Points
- K-Tier: 1,000,000 Tsogo Points
- Tiers will be calculated on a rolling 12-month period, and Tsogo Rewards members will be required to continue earning the required number of Tsogo Rewards points within such 12-month period/s in order to maintain the tier previously achieved or to be upgraded.
- Members will be automatically upgraded to the next Tier upon earning the required number of Tsogo Rewards points necessary to earn such upgrade. J-Tier, Q-Tier, K-Tier and A-Tier Status is valid for 12 months from date of issue. Upon expiry of this 12-month period, members who do not earn sufficient new Tsogo Points within such period to meet and maintain the required number of Tsogo Points necessary to remain on the upgraded Tier Status level will be moved to the relevant Tier Status level that accords with the number of new Tsogo Points they have accumulated during such period.
Tsogo Rewards Points
- Members earn 2% of qualifying spend at Tsogo Sun hotels in Tsogo Points. Qualifying spend is defined as full rate spend on accommodation, food and beverages at Tsogo Sun owned hotels, restaurants and sundry items (i.e. telephone calls, hotel owned laundry services and hotel owned parking) provided that it is charged back to the room.

- Tsogo Points can be earned on a maximum of 2 hotel rooms booked per stay.
- Tsogo Points are not earned on confidential rates.
- Tsogo Points are only earned when a qualifying accommodation rate is paid.
- Members must at all times be occupying one of the Tsogo Sun hotel rooms comprising the Member’s reservation in order to qualify to earn Tsogo Points.
- Members will not earn Tsogo Points on the redemption portion of their stay however should they have to pay in a cash value toward their accommodation, they will earn Tsogo Points on the top up value on accommodation, food and beverage at Tsogo Sun owned restaurants and bars plus sundry items (hotel owned laundry services, telephone calls and hotel owned parking).
- Tsogo Points will not be awarded for any Tsogo Sun hotel stays by a Member that occurred prior to the date upon which a Member joins the Tsogo Rewards programme.
- Tsogo Points are not earned on any Tsogo Sun hotel reservations booked through Online Travel Agencies (OTA). This restriction includes but is not limited to earning Tsogo Points on food and beverage purchases, parking, in room dining, movies, and any other incidental charges incurred during the Member’s length of stay.
- Tsogo Points are valid for 12 months from first date of issue, after which period they expire. Unused Tsogo Points older than 12 months will be forfeited. No Tsogo Points may be carried over.
- Tsogo Points earned will be allocated to the Member 24 hours after check-out.
- Member discounts are only given on Best Available Rates (BAR) and subject to availability. Discounts are not given on negotiated corporate rates.
- Members are required to present their membership number together with a valid positive and acceptable form of identification on check-in or at any time upon transacting, in order to earn Tsogo Points and/or to claim discounts, special offers, benefits or other rewards or to redeem Tsogo Points.
- Tsogo Sun hotel rate discounts offered to members are intended for personal use by the Member and their immediate family (spouse and children) only when staying with the Member at Tsogo Sun hotels and are not intended for on-sale.
- Tsogo Sun shall not be liable for any loss of value of a Member’s Tsogo Points in any manner and howsoever arising. Members are required to safeguard their PIN, Tsogo Points and any other value linked to their Tsogo Rewards programme membership against loss, theft or fraudulent use.
- The accumulation of Tsogo Points by other persons on behalf of the registered Member is expressly prohibited and is grounds for termination of programme participation and forfeiture of Tsogo Points and benefits.
- The benefit is automatically open to Tsogo Rewards members only.
- The discount is available to Tsogo Rewards members only.
- The discount may apply to the food bill only or to the total food and beverage bill, depending on the restaurant.
- The number of guests accompanying the Rewards member that also qualify for the discount may vary per outlet.
- The discount is valid only at participating restaurants per casino or hotel property. Specific terms and conditions may apply at each individual restaurant.
- The Rewards member must have an active status to qualify for the discount.
- Gaming Rewards members must present their Rewards card in person when paying the bill to qualify for the discount.
- Hotel Rewards members must enter their valid PIN when paying the bill to qualify for the discount.
- Days of the week and number of times per day that the discount can be redeemed may vary per restaurant and may exclude special celebrations and public holidays as per the outlet’s discretion.
- The discount cannot be combined with any other discount, voucher, special offer or promotion including but not limited to pensioner discounts.
- There may be a 24-hour delay between the time of joining the Rewards Programme and being able to use the Rewards card to claim the discount.
- The discount cannot be sold or transferred.
- ID confirmation may be required.
- Outlet terms and conditions apply.
- This benefit is exclusive to movies@ Cinemas operating at the following Tsogo Sun properties: Montecasino, Gold Reef City, Silverstar, Hemingways and The Ridge.
- Limited to 4 tickets daily per member, 7 days a week.

- The discount applies to the full ticket price for adults only and excludes under 18 and pensioner prices.
- The discount may only be redeemed by the Tsogo Rewards member in person and may not be sold or transferred.

- The Tsogo Rewards discount is available at the Suncoast and Silverstar Barnyard Theatres only.
- The Tsogo Rewards member must notify the booking agent at The Barnyard Theatre at the time of booking that he/she will be using his/her Tsogo Rewards membership to purchase a ticket/s. No refunds will be made on payments already received to accommodate the discount received by using the Tsogo Rewards member.
- Discounts are final and may not be changed.
- Discounts may not be used in conjunction with other promotional discounts.

- When purchasing tickets at the Theme Park entrance, Tsogo Rewards members must present their Rewards card to the cashier to claim the discount. Hotel Rewards members must enter their valid PIN
- Please note that Theme Park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except during school holidays or public holidays.
- Tickets, prices, show times, hours and days of operations are subject to change without notice.
- All facilities are used at own risk and management reserves the right to limit entry into Gold Reef City and/or to evict, without refund, any person, not abiding by the General Rules, Boarding Notices or Park Guides.
- Under no circumstances will management or the owners be liable for any losses or damages sustained as a result of injuries, theft or accidents, whatsoever arising, whether occasioned by any person failing to abide by these Rules and Boarding Notices, or by own act or omissions. Any queries must be directed to management who are responsible for the operating and management of Gold Reef City.
- If you wish to leave Gold Reef City and return later that day, you can do so without being charged by having your hand stamped at the Main Entrance between 09h30 and 15h45 only. Retain your admission ticket at all times.
- Gates at entrance to the Theme Park close at 16h00 – no entry after 16h00. Unfortunately pass out stamps can only be issued between 09h30 and 15h45.
- Depending on your personal health status please be advised that Gold Reef City thrill rides can be hazardous to your health. For your safety, some rides and attractions are restricted according to your child’s height and age. No smoking, eating or drinking allowed on the rides.
- Shoes must be worn in the park at all times.
- Performances, operating times, prices, availability of rides and order facilities subject to change without notice or refunds at management’s discretion. When unsafe weather conditions dictate, certain rides, shows and attractions may be closed.
- First Aid: for your safety, nurses are on duty during park operating hours.
- No firearms or other dangerous objects are allowed into Gold Reef City under any circumstances and offenders will be prosecuted without exception. Management reserves the right to confiscate any such items found.
- No offensive behaviour as a result of alcohol or other controlled substance abuse permitted in Gold Reef City.
- No pets, skateboards, roller blades, radios or bicycles are allowed into Gold Reef City.
- All children 12 years and under are subject to a responsible adult’s supervision.
- Guests must be at all times dressed including shoes and shirts, in keeping with the family theme promoted at Gold Reef City.
- Guests may not bring their own food or beverages of any kind or form into Gold Reef City.
- All signage inside Gold Reef City is in English. If any instruction is unclear, please ask Guest Services for assistance.
- The discount is valid at Montecasino Pivot Mangwanani Spa, Silverstar Soulstice Day Spa, Club Mykonos La Vita Spa, Garden Route Casino La Vita Spa, Suncoast Towers Spa and The Caledon Spa.
Montecasino Pivot Mangwanani Spa benefit is applicable to the Tsogo Rewards members only. Ace and King Tier members receive a R550 complimentary voucher and a 20% discount thereafter. Voucher to be collected from the casino VIP desk.
