The Top 8 players on each weekly leaderboard qualify for the Saturday Weekly Baccarat Tournament and will receive Power Chips based on their leaderboard position.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM A WINNER?

Registration: Saturday, 18h00–18h30 at the Prive VIP Services Desk, Tournament starts: 19h30.

 

Players will be allocated a seat based on their weekly leaderboard position.

 

Each player starts with 40 × R1,000 tournament & power chips.

 

Minimum bet: R1,000 per hand on either Banker or Player. Bets must be in R1,000 multiples, with no maximum limit or differential betting.

 

Players must participate in every hand, provided they have sufficient chips.

 

Each heat consists of 20 coups, with the remaining chip value counting towards the final score if a player has less than R1,000 remaining.

 

Top three (3) highest score will win prizes

The Top 32 players on the Baccarat Knockout leaderboard will qualify for the Baccarat Knockout Tournament and will receive Power Chips based on their leaderboard position for Quarter Finals.

 

1st – 8th = 4 Power Chips

9th –16th = 3 Power Chips

17th –24th = 2 Power Chips

25th –32nd = 1 Power Chip

1. By virtue of their participation in this promotional competition, it shall be deemed that the respective Participants have acknowledged and accepted these rules
2. The promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company, marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members.
3. This promotion is open exclusively to Tsogo Rewards members who meet the specific qualifying criteria.
4. Any person who is under the age of 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or has self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is specifically prohibited from participating.
5. Participants who wish to be notified via SMS must opt-in to receive SMS communication from Montecasino.
6. All Participants are required to play any active Baccarat table’s game at Montecasino over the promotional period to secure a position on the top 32 leaderboard.
7. Points earning period is from 20 August 2026 at 08h00 until 24 September 2026 at 07h59
8. The Saturday Weekly Baccarat Tournaments points earning cycles will run strictly according to the dates specified under the Saturday Baccarat Weekly Tournaments section, game play as follow.
8.1 During game play in weekly tournament, a dealer marker will move from the lowest numbered box, in ascending order, to the highest until all 8 hands are complete to dictate betting order.
8.2 When the game commences, the marked player will have 10 seconds to place a bet, after which the dealer moves clockwise to the next player. Once a bet is placed and the dealer moves to the next box, the previous bet cannot be altered.
8.3 A player will indicate that he/she wants his power hand to be used by placing the power hand chip on the box with their bet. If the bet wins, they will be paid 2-1.
8.4 Only one (1) Power Chip can be played per hand.
8.5 Power chips have to be used in the first 10 hands
8.6 A power hand chip can only be used once and will be taken by the dealer after the hand.
8.7 Should a player be eliminated and their respective box becomes empty, the marker will move to the next occupied box.
8.8 A new pre-shuffled shoe will be introduced for the heat. Five (5) dummy hands will be dealt at the start; no bets can be placed during this period. Active betting resuming on the 6th hand.
8.9 Once all bets are placed, the dealer will commence a “no squeeze game”, opening both Player and Banker cards. No handling of cards is permitted.
8.10 Participant’s chips must always remain fully visible.
8.11 No voiding of hands will be permitted.
8.12 No simultaneous betting on both “Banker and Player” is allowed, and no side bets will be accepted. Only “Tie bets” are permitted.
8.13 Only active participants playing in the current heat will be allowed into the playing area. No manual tracking or recording of scores by guests is permitted.
8.14 No splitting of chips, sharing of chips are not allowed.
8.15 If a player has already secured a seat in the weekly heat, their position will be allocated to the next highest-ranked eligible player on the weekly leaderboard. Players may only secure one seat per weekly heat, as the leaderboard resets at the beginning of each week.
8.16 If a player is unable to participate in the weekly heat, their seat will be allocated to the next highest-ranked player on the weekly leader board
8.17 In the event of a participant losing all chips prior to the final hand, their exit hand position and remaining chip count zero will determine their final ranking position.
8.18 The tournament can be stopped early once there is only one participant left with chips on the table.
8.19 Non-Commission Baccarat rules will apply to the tournament structure.
8.20 All disputes must be raised within the hand in play. No disputes will be considered after the hand in question has concluded. Management’s decision is final.
8.21 At the end of every heat, participants and the Tournament Director (or Tables Management representative) must sign a score sheet acknowledging the final tallies.
8.22 Tournament chips used must reconcile perfectly with session activity records. Should chip usage not balance during reconciliation, the session will be deemed invalid.
8.23 In the event of a tie for positions to qualify for the final table, the tied players will play 3 individual hands. The participant with the highest chip count at the end of the 3 hands will be declared the winner.
8.24 If scores remain tied after the 3-hand Tie Round, a card count-out will determine the winner. Each guest will receive one card; the highest card wins based on standard Baccarat face values.
9. Top 32 Baccarat Knockout Tournament qualifiers, game play format.
9.1. Each qualifying player’s final position on the leaderboard will determine:
9.1.1. Which of the four (4) tournament tables they will be allocated to at the start of the Baccarat knockout tournament; and
9.1.2. The starting value of Baccarat knockout tournament Power Chips they will receive.
9.2. Once participants are seated, they will be issued with 40 x R1, 000 tournament and power chips.
9.3. Participants must play a minimum of R1, 000 per hand. Bets must be placed on either Banker or Player. There is no maximum limit, no differential betting, and all bets must be in multiples of R1, 000.
9.4. If a player is not able to attend the Baccarat knockout tournament, he will be given a zero as a score.
9.5. Every participant must play every hand (if chip count allows). If a participant has less than R1, 000 chips remaining, the remaining total is allocated to their final score.
9.6. The Baccarat knockout tournament heats will consist of exactly 20 hands/coups total.

12. Rewards cardholders are not authorized to give their card to another individual to earn points on their behalf. In the event of this happening, the offender will be immediately disqualified from this tournament and all promotions taking place within the same period.
13. No coaching of players, table talk hints, or player alliances will be permitted. Failure to comply will lead to immediate heat disqualification.
14. Tournament chips remain property of the casino, hold zero cash value, must be returned after each session, and cannot be transferred.
15. A designated, demarcated operational Gaming Table will be utilized for the Baccarat Tournament sessions. Live public gaming will not be offered at the affected table during designated tournament schedules.
16. Entries to the Baccarat Tournament cannot be purchased for cash or any other consideration. Qualification is purely performance-based.
17. Proxies will NOT be permitted for registration or play at any stage of this tournament.
18. Prizes are non-transferable. All cash and +Play rewards must be claimed and signed for in person by the verified prize winner within fifteen (15) days of the tournament date at the casino cash desk.
19. In the event of technical failure or damage to equipment or devices used for tournament tracking, management reserves the right to utilize alternative tracking methods or reschedule session times at their sole discretion.
20. All decisions made by Tables Management and the Tournament Director are final and binding; no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
21. Montecasino reserves the right to vary, alter, or add to any of these rules in the interest of fairness to all participants or terminate the aspect of the promotion without prior notice.
