Inspired by the beloved Afrikaans romantic comedy Semi-Soet (2012), which captured hearts across the country, the story was reimagined for the stage in 2025 at the AfriForum Theatre. Due to overwhelming demand, the production now scales up for a larger audience in this exciting Teatro run.

The musical follows a driven, confessed workaholic determined to save her struggling advertising agency with a bold and unconventional plan. But as the stakes rise, so do the complications — leading to unexpected romance, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of heart.
