What is ONECARD
With ONECARD, you use a single card to access your play at all participating casinos. That means one card in your wallet, not several.
It works across the following participating Tsogo Sun casinos:
Montecasino
Gold Reef City
Silverstar
Emerald
Suncoast
Golden Horse
When is ONECARD launching?
With the introduction of ONECARD, your ONECARD will allow you to play at any of the six ONECARD participating casinos.
For all other casinos, one card per casino, per customer is issued.
What do I need to know about launch days?
Once a casino goes live with ONECARD, you can only play with your ONECARD at that casino. Other property cards will no longer work there. The launch of ONECARD will take place from 16 to 19 February in a phased approach.
When is ONECARD launching at Montecasino?
16 February – Montecasino and Gold Reef City.
If your ONECARD is a Montecasino or Gold Reef City card, you must use that card to play at Montecasino and Gold Reef City from this date.
You will still use your Silverstar, Emerald, Suncoast or Golden Horse cards to play at those casinos until they go live.
If your ONECARD is not a Montecasino or Gold Reef City card, you will need to request a day card to play at Montecasino or Gold Reef City until your ONECARD becomes active at your dominant casino.
If you are ever unsure which card to use, the Tsogo Rewards desk at any participating casino will be happy to assist.
When is ONECARD launching at Gold Reef City?
16 February – Gold Reef City and Montecasino
If your ONECARD is a Gold Reef City or Montecasino card, you must use that card to play at Montecasino and Gold Reef City from this date.
You will still use your Silverstar, Emerald, Suncoast or Golden Horse cards to play at those casinos until they go live.
If your ONECARD is not a Montecasino or Gold Reef City card, you will need to request a day card to play at Montecasino or Gold Reef City until your ONECARD becomes active at your dominant casino.

When is ONECARD launching at Emerald?
18 February – Emerald and Silverstar
From this date, Silverstar and Emerald also become ONECARD casinos.
If your ONECARD is a Silverstar or Emerald card, you must use it to play at those casinos.
If your ONECARD is from a casino that has not yet gone live, you will need a day card to play at Silverstar or Emerald until your ONECARD is active.
You will continue using property cards only at casinos that have not yet gone live.

When is ONECARD launching at Silverstar?
18 February – Silverstar and Emerald
From this date, Silverstar and Emerald also become ONECARD casinos.
If your ONECARD is a Silverstar or Emerald card, you must use it to play at those casinos.
If your ONECARD is from a casino that has not yet gone live, you will need a day card to play at Silverstar or Emerald until your ONECARD is active.
You will continue using property cards only at casinos that have not yet gone live.

When is ONECARD launching at Golden Horse?
19 February – Golden Horse and Suncoast
From this date, all participating casinos are live on ONECARD.
This means that going forward you will only use your ONECARD to play at Montecasino, Gold Reef City, Silverstar, Emerald, Suncoast and Golden Horse.
Other Tsogo Rewards cards, previously issued by participating casinos, will no longer be in use.

When is ONECARD launching at Suncoast?
19 February – Suncoast and Golden Horse
From this date, all participating casinos are live on ONECARD.
This means that going forward you will only use your ONECARD to play at Montecasino, Gold Reef City, Silverstar, Emerald, Suncoast and Golden Horse.
Other Tsogo Rewards cards, previously issued by participating casinos, will no longer be in use.
If you’re ever unsure which card to use, the Tsogo Rewards desk at any participating casino will be happy to assist.
Do I need to do anything?
No, your Tsogo Rewards card will be automatically updated to ONECARD functionality. Once the switch-over is complete, you will use this one active Tsogo Rewards card as your ONECARD. However, you may be prompted to confirm your Tsogo Rewards terms and conditions when using your card. This is a once-off step to ensure we can continue providing you with Tsogo Rewards offers, and communications across ONECARD. If you’re asked to visit the Tsogo Rewards desk, our team will assist you.
What happens to my existing card?
You do not need to replace your current Tsogo Rewards card. You will use your current card for your dominant site, as your ONECARD.
Can I have more than one card per casino?
With the introduction of ONECARD, your ONECARD will allow you to play at any of the six ONECARD participating casinos. For all other casinos, one card per casino, per customer is issued.
What happens if I play at more than one of the participating properties?
For members who have Tsogo Rewards cards at more than one of the participating properties, your dominant casino will be selected for you. We will inform you via SMS during the launch period which is your dominant casino and, therefore, which card you should retain as your ONECARD and use to play at all of the six casinos going forward. Any additional Tsogo Rewards cards from other participating casinos will be automatically deactivated. This helps ensure a smooth, secure experience and prevents duplication.
How does ONECARD effect my points and available funds?
Your points from participating casinos will be combined into a single total, visible when you insert your card into a slot machine, as well as on the Tsogo Sun App. Points are still earned per casino as you play, but you’ll now see the full picture in one points balance. Your wallet of funds across participating casinos will also be visible in one consolidated view at the slot machine. If you cash out at one casino, those funds can be used to play at any of the other participating casinos using the same ONECARD.
Can I transfer my points from one casino to another casino?
Yes, you can transfer your points using the Tsogo Sun App.
How does the points transfer between casinos work?
You earn Tsogo Rewards points for every play, stay or entertainment experience at a Tsogo Sun destination. These points can be transferred from one casino to another. For ONECARD participating properties, no points transfers between ONECARD properties is necessary. You are also able to transfer to and from ONECARD participating casinos to non-participating casinos with ease.
Now that I have a global points balance for the six OneCard casinos, can I still transfer these points to another Tsogo Sun casino that is not a OneCard casino?
Yes. The Tsogo Sun App will have a global points section which you select and then choose the casino that you would like to transfer points to.
How does ONECARD effect my +Play?
You can transfer your points by using the Tsogo Sun App and converting it to +Play. If you choose to convert points to +Play, that +Play will be used at the casino where the conversion takes place, as it does today.
I have converted my points to +Play at, for example Gold Reef City. Can I use this +Play at any of the participating OneCard casinos?
No, +Play is not transferrable between casinos. Guests must transfer their points to the other casino and then convert to +Play. Once points are converted to +Play at a specific casino, the +Play can only be redeemed at that casino.
I made a mistake and converted too many of my points to +Play. Can I convert it back to points so that I can use these at another property?
This cannot be done at the slot machine, but our Tsogo Rewards desk can do this for you.
I have received R2 000 +Play from, for example Silverstar. Can I use this +Play at one of the other OneCard casinos?
No, only your points can be transferred. +Play cannot be transferred to any another casino.
How does ONECARD effect my personal data?
You will have one central customer profile, making it easier to keep your personal details up to date.
What happens when I play at a non-participating Tsogo Sun casino?
Tsogo Rewards cards issued by non-participating Tsogo Sun casinos will continue to work at their respective properties and do not form part of ONECARD.
How do I earn points by using my Tsogo Rewards membership number?
Your Tsogo Rewards membership number (88-) is the key to earning points and claiming your discounts or other rewards. This number is displayed on the home page of the Tsogo Rewards App. To ensure you earn points and to obtain a discount, present this number when you pay for your hotel stay or settle your restaurant or bar bill. To claim your discount for certain shows, events and movies, enter your membership number before you pay. You also earn points on all ticket purchases at our Tsogo Sun theme parks by presenting your membership number. All theme parks also offer Tsogo Rewards discounts, including Gold Reef City Theme Park, Montecasino Bird Gardens, The Caledon Mineral Baths, Emerald Aquadome and Emerald Animal World.
